Uniform is a crucial part of dance etiquette and is important in the development of a dancer. Dance is a discipline and a uniform is set to put all students in the right frame of mind, helping them learn and enjoy themselves and giving them pride in their art and their dance studio. The uniform allows the teacher to see that the student is dancing correctly and safely and to ensure correct body placement and correct use of muscles.

Please find below the details of the appropriate required uniform which must be worn to each class. All items can be ordered and paid for by using the order form found at the bottom of this page. No uniforms will be ordered until full payment is received.

Persistent attendance at class without the required uniform will result in the dancer being unable to participate in class.

No jewellery is to be worn during classes, including watches, necklaces, anklets and friendship bands. Sleepers or small studs are acceptable if ears are pierced. This is for the safety of your child. Hair must be tied up for all classes; preferably in a bun for Ballet however plaits or a ponytail is also acceptable.
