Test 1-2 Ballet/Jazz

Our Test 1-2 levels of Ballet/Jazz are wonderful classes for those budding ballet dancers. Both fun and creative encouraging children to express themselves through dance, music, imagination and mime. This is the first step into dance with students working independently from their parents and following instructions and directions from their dance professional. Props such as wands, ribbons and scarfs are used to aid learning along with petals and feathers for fine motor skill development. These classes use the foundation of Classical Ballet and jazz technique to develop coordination of gross motor skills, balance and control. Learning ballet terminology and skills such as partner dancing, turn taking and following the leader assists with life outside the studio doors. All classes are fun and a very positive experience for young dancers. A great way to learn the foundations of Dance to help our dancers tip toe up through the levels.
